My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights and found the apartment like accommodations quite satisfactory. There was a small kitchen with 2 burner electric stove, a microwave and sink with only cold water. A toaster and coffee water heater were included along with an array of pots, pans, plates, bowls, glasses and cups. The kitchen opened up onto a balcony. There were flat screen TVs in both the living room and bedroom. Bed and two pillows were clean and comfortable. The closet in bedroom closet is small and has a safety box, iron and ironing board. There is more closet space in the living room. The dining table was a bit small. I set up my laptop on it and we just ate from the couch and small coffee table. The bathroom was nice and had electric hot water. There were dispensers for liquid hand soap, shampoo and shower gel provided. Nice big towels.
The internet was extremely fast (almost 25 Mbps) but we had to try several 5th floor connection routers to get the one that worked the best. Speaking of floors there is an elevator.
We really liked the onsite manager. She has a basic understand of English and was very helpful to us. Her name I believe is Sarah. The assistant does not speak much English but was able to check us in and get us to our room.
The area around the residency is residential with a new Cube condo project getting underway across the street. Noise was at a minimum and the birds chirping could easily be heard throughout the day.
A 7-11 store was down the street or you can hop on a motorcycle taxi to IT Square shopping mall with a Foodland grocery store inside. My wife really liked shopping for clothes there and there are some great bargains. We bought a SIM card for our mobile wifi hotspot on the second floor. There seems to be 3 major Telcom companies offering internet data. We chose True as that was what the service was in the apartment and recommended by the travel books. The condo complex has a barber/beauty/massage shop that I had a great haircut there for $3 USD.
I had to utilize the service of a doctor while there. I went to the Mongkutwattana Hospital not too far away. There is another “fancier” one a bit further down the same avenue called World Medical Center.
The only negatives I can report on is that the electrical outlets are a little cheap and some of them it is hard to get plugs into them, even local type plugs. They are multi-national plugs it seems. The other gripe is that there is no real international news. Their channel menu lists BBC but it was not working. I would like to see some U.S. news channels also.
All-in-all I was very happy to have booked this accommodation and I would definitely recommend it to others. The pictures on the Tripadvisor page shows fairly accurate portrayals of the actual apartment.
