We stayed at the Grass Suites for one night in Bangkok. The hotel is set back from the street and accessed through an alley. We were given a suite, more like a one bedroom apartment than a hotel room. While the furnishings were sparse, it was comfortable.?
There were two bathrooms which was unexpected, but their ventilation posed a problem as there was none: just a screen over the window opening. As a result, the heat and humidity, even in February was exhausting and spilled over to the rest of the suite when the bathroom doors were open.
This hotel or I must say serviced apartment is perfectly situated at the heart of the upper middle class night spots and first class restaurants but the hotel itself is at the poorest. Lacks facilities even simple things such as hair dryers and electric iron.Except for the English Speaking Receptionists; excellent service- I have seen them doing housekeeping,,,,see? Management, wake up!
